Be more sustainable

Clean your makeup brushes regularly
Did you know that dirty makeup brushes can wreak havoc with your skin? Daily use accumulates sebum, impurities, pollution, dust, product build-up and dead skin cells that can include harmful bacteria such as staphylococcus, streptococcus and E. Coli.
You should really aim to clean foundation and concealer brushes once a week and other brushes every fortnight. It's super easy, just wet the bristles, add a little gentle soap and massage, then rinse, squeeze out excess moisture with a towel and leave to dry (hanging off the edge of a counter).
Exfoliate 2-3 times a week
Our skin naturally sheds its dead cells but as we get older, it needs a little extra help to actually get them off the surface. Dead skin can build up everywhere but you'll want to pay extra attention to areas that tend to be drier: knees, elbows, feet, thighs and buttocks.
Regular exfoliation helps to prevent clogged pores and allows skincare products to penetrate skin more efficiently. It can also boost collagen production and promote a smoother, brighter complexion.

Take your makeup off before bed
We've all been there, no matter how many times you've been told to wash off your makeup before bed, sometimes you just can't make it happen. So it's worth a quick reminder of what happens to your skin when you skip cleansing before bedtime!
- Your pores will become clogged and may breakout.
- Your complexion will appear dull.
- Your skin will look older.
- Your skin will look and feel dry.
- Your skin will become irritated.
- You risk eye infection.
The bottom line is removing your make up is very importan! Even if you're super tired, cleanse your face before heading to bed - your skin will definitely thank you later.
Get better sleep
A bad night's sleep makes us irritable, we eat more, we struggle to concentrate and focus, we're more forgetful and we increase our chances of catching colds and becoming depressed. Not to mention the impact on our skin and hair - dark circles, puffiness, dull and dry skin and hair loss.
Try to establish a healthy bedtime routine and get 7-9 hours of sleep per night.
